Community Planner, Economist, and Journalist by schooling, I make my living in public policy, natural resources management, and city planning.
My interests include San Francisco's rich alternative arts scene and sampling its seriously-good culinary and imbibing offerings.
My musical tastes are all over the map but tend to lean toward jazz, country, rock, and electonica.
When I'm not in the city I'm likely to be hiking nearby in the Bay Area or backpacking the Sierras.
I have completed a rigorous training program on San Francisco's history, culture, and architecture in order to gain docenting and tour guide credentials for the Bay Area's premier preservation society. I have been with this preservation society in a volunteer capacity since 2004 and served a term on its volunteer advisory committee.
