Having spent most of my childhood in Iran, with its rich history of the ancient Persian Empire, I was raised in a proud culture which revolved around cooking and great conversations at the table. To witness such passion and respect for food during my upbringing, along with a god given gift of a curious palate, I became a food lover. I had the opportunity to be around a wide range of amazing chefs with unique creative talents and foods of all kind.

I find Persian food to be understated yet one of the most beautiful, aromatic, and delicious cuisines in the world. Those who have tried Persian dishes become fans for life, but often find it too exotic to even attempt to make at home.
