I'm a Berkeley transplant to Cambridge, and have lived here for 12 years now. I have a Master's in Urban Planning and am now a PhD student. After having lived and worked in many Boston neighborhoods -- Roxbury, the South End, Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the North End, and several parts of Cambridge and Somerville -- I'm feeling a bit like a local. All of my research for school so far has been in Boston, and I love to share my knowledge about history, politics, the arts and, of course, food, with visitors. In my free time you can find me running food and wine events around town, and writing or podcasting on my blog cultivatingplaces.com.
