I had just returned from hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu the day earlier and was physically exhausted, but a few minutes after meeting Brenna, I knew that I would not regret the experience. I have been to L.A. many times, but never took the time to appreciate where I was: The history of Olvera Street, the Bradbury building, and the Grand Central Market just to name a few. Thanks to Brenna and her tour of L.A.-Metro style, I have a greater appreciation of L.A. and maybe one day I'll be confident enough to explore the greater Los Angeles basin on my own.
Gene is great! A really kind person who was up for anything I had planned.
He seemed interested in the history of the places we toured, and was that wonderful go-with-the-flow type that enjoys learning by doing. He's definitely the kind of experience-haver that enjoys the journey as much as the destination.
I had a lovely time sharing DTLA with Gene!
